Galactic Core

The Galactic Core, sometimes just 'the core', is the centre of the Milky Way galaxy. The region has an incredibly high population of stars, black holes, and various gravitic phenomena, making it an almost impassable section of space via standard FTL travel. It is believed that, at the very heart of this region lies the answers to many questions regarding the Enlightenment and its nature. Understandably, this makes the region of significant scientific value, and remains at the forefront of astronomical agendas year by year.
